Passwords are hidden
November 9, 2015
Passwords should be regarded as a highly private information of customers and users who registers on a website. It is something that no one should have access to - not even the website owners. To improve security, we are going to hide passwords for users through the API. This means that the passwords will be hidden in all "User_Get" functions.
At this time, it will have an effect on these functions if the "Password" field is indicated by User_SetFields:
that if you indicate the "Password" field in User_SetFields, then it will be blank. This in no way means that the user does not have a password.
that it is still possible to update a password for users via the User_Create and User_Update functions, so that one could make a "Reset Password" page.
